MISSION STATEMENT

​

The  mission of Guardians of the Children is to recognize and  react to  child abuse and educate the public to do the same; to serve as advocates to provide strength and stability to families in crisis; and be an answer to the prayer of an abused child or teen for courage, support, and protection.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to help a child feel protected and become a Victor not a Victim

What we do to protect Children

  • Listen to and work with boys and girls to improve their lives and safety

  • Protect children during emergencies and attend court with 

  • Organize events for Little Guardians in child friendly spaces where boys and girls can socialize, play and receive psychosocial support to help them cope during emergencies

  • Advocate for more effective national protection policies

  • Develop public awareness campaigns to stop child abuse and exploitation

  • Work with parents and caregivers to enhanced their ability to apply positive discipline at home
